The Library system has been upgraded after the system migration in early July. Along with the upgrade, some of our services have also been updated.
OneSearch Replacing SearchPlus
OneSearch features a more intuitive interface, which greatly improves users’ experience in discovering resources from the library.
Update of Library Loan Privileges
The Library loan privileges for item renewal has been updated. It changed from a maximum number of renewals to a maximum loan period.
My Library Account with SSO Login
My Library Account is now supported by the University’s Single Sign-On service, which means students and staff can now use your own HSU email account to sign in your “My Library Account”.
Extended Due Date of Borrowed Items
Owing to the system migration, for those borrowed circulation collection items with a due date between 5 June and 30 June 2023, the due date will be extended to 31 July 2023. For borrowed multimedia collection and serials collection (back issue) items that have a due date between 23 June 2023 and 7 July 2023, the due date will be extended to 15 July 2023.
