The lecture shared the importance of positive thinking and the purpose of life, which goes beyond mere survival and encompasses physical and psychological health, as well as global coexistence. The discussion on the interface between man, nature, and the environment focuses on discovering the “true self” and attaining self-enlightenment, which is a realm of self-discovery. It emphasizes the self-actualization of the human individual in the real world, involving the integration of the heart, mind, and body. The lecture also highlights the notion that character is considered good when it is genuine, and it explores concepts such as physiognomy and the Enneagram.

The focus of this seminar was the concept of “Self” as a state of nothingness. Alexander S. W. Law is invited as the speaker of the seminar. He is a renowned architect, art connoisseur, and business leader. Prof. Law shared his expertise and insights on Self, based on disciplines such as Enneagram, music, Buddhism, Zen, and Shaolin breathing exercises. The seminar provided valuable reflections on the true nature of Self and its impact on personal well-being.
Physiognomy, Enneagram and Personality Typing

This lecture focuses on Enneagram, a personality typing system, and its relation to Physiognomy. Concepts of the superego in Psychology, the essence of Enneagram studies, the practices of Physiognomy, and personality typing were reviewed during the lecture. Students can learn how to do their Enneagram personality typing right away and understand the applications of Enneagram and Physiognomy in life and work.
