Launching Ceremony of Cross-Institutional Metaverse Platform for Collaborative Team Learning

This project is a collaboration between Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, the University of Hong Kong School of Professional and Continuing Education and Hong Kong Chu Hai College.

The Launching Ceremony of Cross-Institutional Metaverse Platform for Collaborative Team Learning was an important milestone in the development of real-time cooperative VR multi-CAVE systems. The Meta-Universe Interactive Learning Platform can simulate real-world environments, creating immersive and interactive learning environments.

Through VR goggles, students studying journalism, cultural heritage and logistics are transported to immersive scenarios, allowing them to develop practical skills in the classroom. The ceremony began with opening remarks from the President, followed by a project overview and discussion of the theme. This ceremony marked the beginning of an exciting journey that is expected to bring long-term benefits to the students.
