Mrs Irene Yim was a founding librarian of HSUHK Library and a famous author of Hong Kong Children’s Literature. In this talk, Mrs Yim covered the history of HSUHK Library and shared the stories around HSSC, HSSC Library and Campus life with the audience. As a contributor to Hong Kong Children’s Literature, Mrs Yim’s roadmap for her literary works and research will be another highlight.

Mr. Joe Chow and Ms. Shandi Chan, who were involved in the Library’s relocation, shared fascinating stories and insights into the Library’s remarkable transformation over the past decade. Student had the opportunity to learn about the unique features of the Library when it was located on the 5th floor of M Building, the challenges faced during the relocation and automation system upgrade, and the exciting experiences of moving to the new A Building. Through their engaging stories, students were able to relive the history and progress of the HSUHK Library.
