Overdue fines vary with collections and items:

  • Circulation Collection
 HK$1 per opening day HK$100 per item
  • Multimedia Collection
  • Serials Collection
 HK$2 per opening day
  • Course Reserve Collection
  • Special Collections
 HK$2 per opening hour
  • CUHK/HKBU/HKSYU/EdUHK/HKAPA/CIHE/TWC’s Reader Card
  • HKU Library Card
 HK$50 per opening day HK$100 per card

You can pay the overdue fines by Octopus card on the 1/F Service Counter of the Library.
