It was published by the Commercial Press in 1904 and ended in 1948, with 819 issues, covering the latest information on political, economic, cultural, educational and social issues in China and abroad at that time. It has recorded the historical trajectory of China’s modern development and has become the most influential and longest-running comprehensive magazine in the history of modern periodicals.
