In the lecture, Mr Wang Yi shared the ideas, techniques, and personal experiences behind his works, outlining the development of his practice. Through close readings of selected pieces, he explained the themes and meanings within his art. Mr. Wang also discussed his past exhibitions, highlighting key projects and influences. The session offered participants a clear overview of his artistic approach and provided an opportunity to engage with contemporary Chinese art through the perspective of a practicing artist.
