The Department of Accountancy hosted a public lecture entitled ‘Social Justice, Social Good, and ESG Metrics’. In his opening remarks, HSUHK President Professor Simon Ho urged leaders to look beyond compliance and integrate social justice into the fabric of their organisations. The keynote speaker was Professor Wong Kwai Huen, SBS, BBS, JP, Principal of Huen Wong Consultancy and University-wide Adjunct Professor at HSUHK, who traced the evolution of ESG, reviewed Hong Kong’s regulatory landscape and demonstrated how the ‘S’ pillar can drive genuine social good. The lively Q&A session, which was moderated by Mr Ricky Lam, showcased strong engagement and reinforced the department’s leadership in sustainable business education.
