The “Economy of Goodness Conference” organized by the Institute of Knowledge Exchange, The Centre for Management as a Liberal Arts at HSUHK, Economy of Goodness, and Master Insight Media. Over 50 leaders gathered to discuss social innovation and impact measurement. In a keynote address, President Ho advocated for transformative capitalism focusing on social responsibility and stakeholder engagement. Prof. Hoffmire emphasized Impact Investing, blending financial gains with social benefits, while Dr. Her introduced the “Economy of Goodness,” promoting altruism to fight poverty. The Conference, moderated by Mr. Man Cheuk-fei, concluded with discussions on education and society. President Ho reaffirmed HSUHK’s dedication to liberal arts, business ethics, and sustainability. Prof. Hoffmire highlighted employees’ roles in enhancing care for their surroundings and customers, and Dr. Her underscored Hong Kong’s position in fostering cultural bridges and sustainable development.
