The Library has subscribed to a new resource Alexander Street Press – Business & Economics. This online resource combines video, audio and text with cutting-edge online tools to provide extensive and quality business content. The cross-searchable interface for 4 collections, namely Business E-Books OnlineBusiness Education in VideoHuman Resource Management Online and International Business Online, is powerful yet easy to use.


This updated interface offers users exciting new features such as synchronous transcript, semantic facet browsing, playlist-building functionality, clip creation, mobile sharing, multi-language user interface, as well as the ability to export citations in various formats. Making a clip has never been easier. It is just a few clicks. Translation options for transcripts, bibliographic details are available every page. Videos can be embedded in LMS like Moodle. “Send to mobile” function allows you to share a video with anyone!

A Good Start for Second Semester: Library Document Delivery Service (DDS)

To have a good start for second semester, Library is pleased to announce launching of Document Delivery Service (DDS) effective from February 2015.


The service will obtain materials not available at the HSMC Library from local document services suppliers to support the research needs of academic departments.
