From Literature to current affairs, the Book Fair will bring you titles from Taiwan and Hong Kong with a discount price of up to 30% off for Taiwan books and 20% off for Hong Kong books. Don’t miss the chance to pick your favorite titles from the Book Fair.

Factiva – A Premier Business Resource

Factiva, provided by Dow Jones, has a broad collection of sources from 200 countries in 26 languages, including business magazines, trade journals, newspapers, newswires, media programs, blogs, podcasts and company stock reports. Information, such as current stock quote, financial data, and competitors, on both public and private companies is available.


The Library has set up the Group Pages under News Pages menu as a newsstand for selected newspapers such as the Asia Wall Street Journal, South China Morning Post, 明報, 信報, 星島日報 and 香港經濟日報. This is a quick way to browse current issues across newspapers.

Borrowing Services beyond HSMC Library for Academic Staff: HKUST Library Card Service

In addition to borrowing materials from HSMC Library, academic staff is able to check out books from HKUST Library using the HKUST Borrower’s Card available from Library. Eligible users can visit Library Services Desk on G/F to borrow the card by presenting valid HSMC staff card.
