Database on Trial: 中華經典古籍庫 and more

The Library is recently adding a new database 中華經典古籍庫 for trial. This database features a collection of well-known Chinese classics, including the Grand Scribe’s Records (史記), Classical Literature Series, and Buddhist Classics Series, which are published by the renowned Zhonghua Book Company, also edited and punctuated by professional publishers.

Other trials, including De Gruyter – UN Sustainable Development Goals Package, Gale Reference Complete, Psychotherapy.net, 百年華文限量複製民國圖書資料庫 – 中國近現代本土文學作品, are also available until June 2022.

Journey of Library Student Ambassadors

Library Student Ambassadors had a fruitful journey this year.

In difficult times of COVID-19, the Ambassadors attended a series of briefing sessions and practical training in the Library. For project initiatives, the Ambassadors not only organized and hosted a reading club online, but also customized learning plans for their fellow students. They find the learning experience at the Library valuable by acquiring presentation, communication, networking and leadership skills. They treasure the friendship between teammates and the good memories are recorded in the Library webpage.

Credible Sources for Your Essays

Hundreds of e-books on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including the book series Concise Guides to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals written and edited by United Nations officials, are now available in the Library!

The titles are definitely useful for essays or projects related to sustainable development on various aspects such as education, economy and resources management, as well as empowering yourself as an advocate of social development to make our society a better place.
