Book Talk on “真.君子商贏之道”

The Library and Research Institute for Business are honoured to have Dr Felix Tang and Dr Ting-ting Xie, two of the editors, and Dr Yam-wing Siu and Dr Kaz Kwok, two authors of some book chapters, as the speakers in the coming book talks. Some more authors may join us too. They will share with us why the concept of “Junzi” and its five virtues are still important to today’s business and interesting “behind the scene” stories happened during the preparation of the book. 24/7 @ Library 24 Hours Study Area (23 April 2018 – 19 May 2018)

To facilitate students’ study and preparation for the examination, the Library will operate the 24 Hours Study Area at G/F of the Library during the final examination period.

Starting from 23 Apr 2018 (Mon 8:30 am) to 19 May 2018 (Sat 5:00 pm), you can access the area to boost up your study.

Please CLICK for more information. To ensure safety, the Area is safeguarded by Security Guard. Library users are required to have valid student ID cards in order to access the Area. Please tap your valid student card to the card reader next to the side door (G/F of the Library) to enter the Area.

Library Workshop: Visualizing Your Research Data

Your presented data would be interpreted more effectively if it could be visualised. This workshop will introduce some handy and useful tools that help to create graphs, charts, maps and other infographics. Together with desktop publishing techniques, your work will become more presentable. Join our workshop on 4 April (Wednesday).

Remarks: For convenience, participants are advised to bring along their own notebook computers for software installation.

Tips on searching these eBooks:

Go to the Library website, click Databases A-Z list, select Wiley Online Library then type in keyword actuarial or insurance in the search box, over 13,000 related books are available for your study and learning.

You may also find other different types of resources relevant to this programme such as e-journals, reference works and multi-media through the Subject Guides.
