Lucky Charms Created at the Omamori DIY Workshop

(Issue 167/June 2021)

Beautiful pouches were made by students at the Omamori DIY Workshop held in the Library!

The pouches are a type of Japanese amulet that protect their owners from bad luck and evil spirits. It was a wonderful workshop for participants to share a unique cultural experience of artifact creation.

Organized by the Japanese Culture Society and the Art Society, the Workshop was held at the DIY Corner of the Library on 24 May 2021. If you also want to co-organize any activities with the Library, please feel free to contact us at library@hsu.edu.hk.
