Study Carrels: Enhancement of Accessibility

(July 2015/Issue 50)
To further enhance provision of the service, with the support from ITSC, from now on, users can get access to their booked rooms from the access control devices outside using HSMC staff / student cards straight after claiming the bookings via the Campus Room Booking System.
In response to user’s suggestion on booking of study carrels, Library has changed the setting of online reservation from 4-hour to 2-hour per unit. In addition, the maximum number of time slot for booking has been adjusted to one for students and four for faculty members.
