As a green material, bamboo plays an important part in reducing many adverse effects on the environment and human health. To promote environmental protection, HSMC has used bamboo in its internal design of new buildings and as a material for furniture items. Do you know why bamboo is environmental friendly and what benefits it can bring to Mother Earth?
Come to find out answers from the Library’s Green Exhibition themed “Bamboo for the 21st Century” and enter a quiz for lucky draw on or before 27 November! 竹子與廿一世紀
竹是綠色環保材料，在減少對環境污染和促進人類健康方面起了重大的作用。為了倡導環保，恒生管理學院在新建成的教學行政樓、康樂活動中心等大樓內，採用竹作為內部設計建築材料和辦公室傢具。究竟竹子如何維護生態和對地球環境作出貢獻呢？欲知答案，請參與恒生管理學院圖書館舉辦的綠色展覽 – 「竹子與廿一世紀」 – 及圖書館的綠色講座 – 「廿一世紀環保『竹』覺」。
