Please be updated that Library has subscribed to the RefWorks (a web-based bibliography and citation database tool) which will migrate to a new platform in coming months. The Library will prepare a smooth transition for users to the new interface. Here is an advance notification to bring your attention:
Step 1: Testing New RefWorks (Jun – Aug 2017)
- trial testing accounts will be issued to library administration and faculty members
- a demo for faculty members will be arranged in early Aug 2017
Step 2: Preparing Upgrade (Sep – Dec 2017)
- sign up for a new RefWorks account
- users should export their citation data to the new RefWorks system before 15 Nov 2017
- training workshops will be arranged for students in Oct 2017
- parallel use of both new and old RefWorks accounts are only available at this stage
- online help guide will be available in the library website
Step 3: Launching to the New RefWorks (early 2018)
- the old version of RefWorks will be terminated by the end of 2017
- workshops on smart use of the new RefWorks
