AI Technology and Career Opportunities

Organized by Wu Jieh Yee Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (WUCIE), the Tech Talk AI Technology and Career Opportunities will be held in the Library.

Participants can explore more about startup journeys and career opportunities in the AI field via the talk presented by Executive Director of HKAI Lab and two entrepreneurs from iPYGG FinTech Group Limited and NeuFast Limited.

All students and staff are invited to be with us. Details are as follows:

  • Time: 4:00 – 5:00 pm (Registration at 3:45 pm)
  • Venue: G/F, Space for All @HSUHK Library
  • Language: Cantonese supplemented with English

1 ECA hour / 1 iGPS unit will be offered to students with full attendance of the talk.

A New Account of the Tales of the World @Library Reading Club

A New Account of the Tales of the World 《世說新語》 is a collection of anecdotes, character sketches, conversations and remarks concerning hundreds of men and women in China during the Han dynasty and Wei-Jin periods. The stories provide a vibrant portrait of ancient China, reflecting its social, moral and aesthetic concerns.

Come join the Library Reading Club facilitated by faculties from the Department of Chinese. Register now to have a journey through history. Participants will receive a free copy of the book.

Art and Design Public Lectures

(Issue 172/October 2021)

A public lecture, 15.50.100: A Journey in Performance, is organized by the Department of Art and Design (AAD) at Space for All in the Library.

Ms Tisa Ho, the CEO of the Hong Kong Arts Festival (HKAF) will be the speaker of the Lecture. This Lecture will cover the history of HKAF – how it happened and how it has evolved over the years. Students or practitioners of culture and creative fields will learn how to run the business within the industry and operation of an arts festival. The highlight goes to the sharing of interesting stories and personal insights from Ms Tisa Ho.

All students and staff are most welcome to join the Lecture. Details are as follows:
