Read What You Like at Lifestyle Corner

Start of new semester doesn’t mean the end of leisure moments! Come to the Library and you’ll know how!

A new set of Lifestyle Collection is available at 2/F of the Library. You can also relax yourself in the low seating furniture, bean bags and sofa. Come and enjoy! After all, good taste, good life, isn’t it?

E-Reference Station

Are using Google or Wikipedia your only ways to search for new topics or to look up vocabularies? In fact, there are many e-Reference databases subscribed by the Library which can provide more reliable and updated sources to you. The Library has set up an e-Reference Station on the G/F of the Library for your easy access. You can also click HERE to view the e-Reference guide anytime anywhere.

24 Hours Study Area in Mid-Term Period

To facilitate your study, the Library will again operate the 24 Hours Study Area during the mid-term period this semester. Starting from 8 Oct 2018 (Mon 8:30 am) to 27 Oct 2018 (Sat 5:00 pm), you can access the Area and boost up your study.

To ensure safety, the Area is safeguarded by Security Guard. Library users are required to have valid student ID cards to access the Area. Please tap your valid student card on the card reader next to the side door (G/F of the Library) to enter the Area. Please CLICK for more information.

DIY Corner @Library

(Issue 112/September 2018)

DIY Corner @Library is established with inspiration to the concept of makerspace where encourages people to brainstorm, to construct, and to achieve brilliant ideas through experimental learning. It also provides a new way for students and faculty to interact outside the classroom.

The first DIY Corner Activity is on the way! As the Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching, let’s create lanterns together at the DIY Corner. Details are as follows.

Date: 14 September 2018 (Friday)

Time: 4 pm to 5 pm

Venue: DIY Corner, 2/F of the Library

Come and handmade your own lantern. It would be fun!

New Bookshelves at 1/F of the Library

(Issue 112/September 2018)
During the summer time, the Library has added a number of new bookshelves for open access to more books in the Library while seating area still remains. The current newspapers and magazines are relocated to the window side just a few steps next to the bookshelves. This new arrangement has gone down well with library users.
