Database on Trial – O’Reilly for Higher Education

The Library recently added a new database O’Reilly for Higher Education for trial until 13 September 2022. It provides full-text access to over 35,000 business and IT-related ebooks, case studies, learning paths, interactive tutorials, and over 6,000 videos.

Database on Trial: 中華經典古籍庫 and more

The Library is recently adding a new database 中華經典古籍庫 for trial. This database features a collection of well-known Chinese classics, including the Grand Scribe’s Records (史記), Classical Literature Series, and Buddhist Classics Series, which are published by the renowned Zhonghua Book Company, also edited and punctuated by professional publishers.

Other trials, including De Gruyter – UN Sustainable Development Goals Package, Gale Reference Complete, Psychotherapy.net, 百年華文限量複製民國圖書資料庫 – 中國近現代本土文學作品, are also available until June 2022.

Database on Trial

The following databases are available for trial until June:

  • De Gruyter Book Archive covers 15 subjects’ collections, including Architecture Design and Arts, Business and Economics, Law, Linguistics and Semiotics, Literary and Cultural Studies, Mathematics, Philosophy and Social Sciences.

  • Gale Reference Complete is a resource package consisting of abundant reference sources of archives, historical newspapers, literature manuscripts, reviews and primary works.
  •  
  • 百年華文限量複製民國圖書資料庫 – 中國近現代本土文學作品 features Chinese literary works published between 1900 and 1949, including classics by modern and contemporary Chinese writers such as Guo Moruo (郭沫若), Lin Yutang (林語堂), Lao She (老舍) and Shen Congwen (沈從文).
