This workshop introduces the Library’s new search engine, SearchPlus, to locate a wide range of library resources, view your Library account and other functions.

This workshop demonstrates effective searching skills of WiseNews & EBSCOhost (two database platforms) with hands-on exercises.

SearchPlus goes Mobile

HSMC Library is pleased to bring you SearchPlus goes Mobile. It is the mobile version of SearchPlus, which is the one-stop search interface for the discovery and delivery of a wide variety of Libraryresources, on your smartphones or other mobile devices. Now, you can search Library resources in the palm of your hand anywhere around the clock.

 

 You can get the followings in the palm of your hand:

  • Check the status and location of any item in ourLibrary’s collection;
  • Search for books, articles , journals and more at one go;
  • Check your current loan, renew and place hold on items;
  • Read full-text journal articles from selected databases.
    (For remote access, you are required to set up VPN on your mobile);
  • Save your search result at e-shelf.
