Since the start of Semester, thanks to our teachers and students, we are so inspired by their words written on board! But we always hunger for more, especially more from YOU! The Library is now recruiting students for stirring lines, you can also put down the lines on board and design all by yourself, sharing the insights with the whole school. Interested students please email your wonderful lines to us (betweenthelines@hsmc.edu.hk).

Do not hesitate, because how words can inspire oneself, always far more than you expect!

Do you know the word ‘Mandarin’ never comes from China, but a Portuguese word mandarim? Also, the most complicated Chinese character consists of 57 strokes! Sometimes even the locals have to admit that we know so little about Chinese. So here’s your chance to dig deep! New theme of Good Read Corner (遣詞用字學文化) brings you a bunch of interesting books about Chinese characters, idioms, calligraphy, lexicology and grammar. Come and explore today!
