The Library is going to hold the second Book Fair with Luck Win Bookstore (樂文書店) from 20 – 22 March. During these three days, you can come and look for any good books to read. What’s more, all the books are up to 30% off! Come by and get the house of gold in books!

Database Workshop: Lexis® Hong Kong (new platform to be released)

The Library is going to hold a workshop on a database – Lexis Advance® Hong Kong. The existing classic Lexis® HK platform will be decommissioned in June 2019 and will be upgraded to the new Lexis Advance® Hong Kong.

Lexis Advance® Hong Kong is a database provides abundant legal and business-related documents. Students and teachers can therefore have an easy access to a rich collection of resources for reference.

During the workshop, you will have the chance to have hands-on practice to navigate and search for documents with the new Lexis Advance® Hong Kong research tools. Both students and staff are welcome to join us!

Emerald Open Access Publishing Seminar

The second seminar of the month will introduce to you the trend of open access. You will be able to find out the impact of open access on teaching and learning in the digital era.

Speaker of the Seminar is Ms Julie Lin. She is from the academic engagement and education training section of Emerald. She will demonstrate how the new Emerald open access publishing platform supports the publication process.
