‘We are dominated by cinematic spectacles, and from time to time falling in love with the Marvel heroes, yet, behind this spectacular universe, we can see the current social and cultural reflections from Hollywood cinema’, says Dr Chan Ka Ming from the Department of Social Science.

Dr Chan works with the Library to arrange a Friday Movie Series of screening activity: From New Hollywood to American Dream – How does cinema build a dream factory for our society?
