Practical Issues for Starting a Business

The fourth workshop of the Entrepreneurship 101 Workshop Series organized by Wu Jieh Yee Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (WUCIE) will be presented by Mr Lawrence Fong, co-founder of Honeycomb Corporate Community Ltd. He will share practical issues for starting a business such as company registration, patent, taxation, company law and ownership plan in Hong Kong. Details are as follow:

Romance of Three Kingdoms @Library Reading Club

Romance of Three Kingdoms 《三國演義》 is one of the Four Classic Chinese Novels (中國四大名著). While some of you might have previously read this classic historic novel, you may still gain insights from this new edition with annotations and explanatory notes.

Kick-off Ceremony of Social Engagement Project

The kick-off ceremony for the Social Engagement Project of the BSS-AS Programme will be held in Space4All at the Library. The Project aims to enhance students’ exposure and motivate students to make significant contributions to the community through a series of activities.

The locally renowned organization, Little Green Feet (綠腳丫) is one of the partners of the Project. Mr Kenny Or, the founder, will share his experiences on how to engage individuals in-need through picture books after the kick-off ceremony. Register for a seat now.

Coursework Exhibition – Analytical Drawing (AD1101)

Collaborating with the Department of Art and Design, the Library is happy to present the Coursework Exhibition – AD1101 Analytical Drawing by students from the course in Semester 1 (AY2021/22). Thanks to Mr Chan Kei Him’s guidance, students show their creativity with different mediums. Come visit the Exhibition and appreciate the artworks.

Wu Jieh Yee Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (WUCIE) is organizing the Entrepreneurship 101 Workshop Series in which seasoned practitioners will be invited to share insights for launching new business.

The third workshop of the Series will be presented by Mr Alvin Lam, Managing Partner of T12M Ventures and 18Hall.com. He will talk about SWOT analysis, brand building, distribution channels and start-up digital marketing tactics. Details are as follows:
