Textbook Fair (Semester 1, AY2018-19)

The 1st Semester Textbook Fair will be held on 12-14 September 2018. All available textbooks will be sold at discounted prices. For a full list of available textbooks, please click HERE. Details as below:

Seminar on “Copyright and Education” for Academic Staff

To promote awareness of intellectual property rights during the preparation of teaching materials, a seminar on “Copyright and Education” will be conducted in the Library, delivered by the representative from the Intellectual Property Department (IPD) of the HKSAR Government. Details are as follows:

Time: 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm (Including a Q&A session)

Venue: E-learning classroom (A114), 1/F, Library

Speaker: Ms Jasmine Kun, Senior Solicitor of IPD

《四分之三的香港:行山.穿村.遇見風水林》@Library Summer Reading Club

(Issue 108/June 2018)

Summer can be much more than a view through the window. Wanna go hiking but don’t know where to go? MacLehose Trail has been cited as one of the world’s top 20 hiking trails by National Geographic, a nature-adventure magazine. It’s time for you to explore and experience the beauty of nature.

Library Reading Club will organize reading sessions for Management and Support Staff to read 《四分之三的香港:行山.穿村.遇見風水林》, introducing the culture and villages of Hong Kong countryside. A welcome pack with a copy of the book will be given to you and you can enjoy the lunchtime with other hiking lovers. Details are as follows:

Date: 20 July 2018 (Friday) and 3 August 2018 (Friday) (tentative)

Time: 12:30 – 1:15 pm

Venue: Learning Commons, G/F of the Library

Target audience: Management and Support Staff

Brown bag lunch will be provided. Seats are limited. First come first served.
