CFA & CPA Collections

CFA & CPA Collections

Two new collections have been established to provide a dedicated location for learning resources related to two professional examinations, namely CFA and CPA.

CFA Collection

This collection consists of books issued by the CFA Institute. Some items in this collection are also available in electronic format. In addition, a few supplementary publications for helping candidates to sit the CFA examination are also kept there. You are advised to check them in SearchPlus.

CPA Collection

This collection comprises learning resources issued by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants for its CPA Qualification Program. A set of the latest editions is kept in the Collection.

 

The collections are located on the 1/F of the Library, adjacent to the Group Discussion Rooms A109-110. All items in these collections are available for loan as Circulation Collection.

New Business Videos Arrival: Meeting with Worldwide CEOs and Professors

Two collections of business case studies videos from Stanford University and Harvard Business School are now available in the Multi-media Collection (2/F of the Library).

Kick start your self-learning with famous CEOs and professors such as Bill Gates, David DeWalt and Jeffrey Pfeffer who share their first-hand experiences for the well-known companies and the challenges they face.

Find Your Way To Locate Items On Shelf

With the Re-classification Project, We Make a Change for Your Easy Access to the Collection

Books are arranged on shelves by call numbers which represent their subjects. The Library is undertaking a re-classification project to change all the books classified by Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) to Library of Congress Classification (LCC) which is widely used in academic libraries.
During this transitional period, these two types of call numbers will be used in the Library. You have to look under two locations to get all the books in the same subject. For example, if you want to locate Accounting books on the shelves, you should look under the call number range HF5601-5686 for LCC and call number 657 for DDC.
