Can I renew an overdue item?

You can renew overdue items via “My Library Account”, but still need to pay the overdue fines caused by late renewal.

Please note that renewal cannot be made in the following situations:

  • HKU Library Reader Card, Course Reserve Collection and Special Collections
  • Maximum loan period of the item has been reached
  • Item has been requested by another user
  • You have unpaid overdue fines of $100 or above
